We love the idea of a toy that can be used in open-ended play and for teaching purposes.  Homeschooling parents, this will be right up your street!

With our Preschool Number Letter Board, your little one/s are still able to construct, balance and stack with these beautiful tiles but their hand drawn numbers, letters and symbols also make them an invaluable teaching aid.

Designed for children ages 3 to 6 years, our Preschool Board allows your child/ren to group numbers by colour, rote count, identify prime, odd and even numbers, count in 2's, 5's, 10's, etc, problem solve, learn the alphabet and letter sounds, understand the difference between lower case and capital letters, practice their CVC words, punctuation and phonics and the symbols also allow you to teach basic maths in a fun-filled manner.

Each set includes 200 handmade and hand drawn tiles split over 2 layers of 100 pieces each.  Their layout is as follows:

Layer 1 // 100's counting chart (numbers 1 to 100).

Layer 1 reversed // lower case alphabet 'a' - 'u' and 5 tiles of each letter (excluding 'q' which is in layer 2)

Layer 2 // lowercase alphabet 'q' and 'v' to 'z' (2 to 3 tiles of each letter), upper case alphabet 'A' to 'Z' (2 tiles of each letter), basic punctuation marks, basic maths symbols and 100's counting tiles from '0' to '1000'.

Layer 2 reversed // has been left blank to allow for maximum open-ended enjoyment.

The non-toxic colour stains that we use to coat them in ensures the organic texture of the wood is 100% preserved; making for a totally natural sensory experience.  All of our pigments are made in Italy and comply with international toy safety standards.
